XVIII International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition

Every five years since 1927, the greatest piano talents from around the world have come to Warsaw to compete in the Fryderyk Chopin International Piano Competition. It is the most important music event in Poland and one of the most important music events in the world. The prestige of the competition and the global careers of the winners mean that the competition enjoys unflagging interest.
In addition to the huge role it plays in spreading the popularity of Chopin’s music, the competition uncovers the most talented pianists and sends them on their way to glittering international careers.
The competition is accompanied by numerous events – concerts, panel discussions and meetings, as well as exhibitions, and the entire event is covered on radio and TV, streamed and can be watched on social media and on a dedicated app.
The jury of the 18th Fryderyk Chopin International Piano Competition will be made up of outstanding artists, authorities on music and excellent teachers. They will choose winners who will go on to create the shape of the music world for decades to come.
